River Conservation Plans

River Conservation Plans are reference tools describing the existing data and resources
of the land, water, biology, recreation, and culture of a watershed or river corridor.
These plans also, through community involvement, make locally-relevant recommendations
for protecting, restoring, and enhancing the quality of the rivers and riverfronts.

(Click on the Plans below for more information. Click on the maps to see larger versions.)

These Plans are made possible by grants from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources' (DCNR)
Rivers Conservation Program, which was developed to conserve and enhance river resources through
locally-initiated plans. For further information on DCNR's program, visit the website at www.dcnr.state.pa.us.
